In 2014, I co-founded Drop with Alvaro Alliende and Fernando Zavala with the idea of bringing to market a smart pool monitor that would radically simplify pool maintenance and dramatically increase pool safety. Drop works by capturing all the relevant water quality data (pH, temperature and chlorine levels) and transmitting them to the user via wifi. The data is then analysed and the user is provided with the correct amount of pool products needed to achieve the cleanest, highest quality water possible. Thanks to its built-in accelerometer and proprietary algorithm, Drop can detect abnormal pool activity and notify the user immediately.

This cordless drill concept was part of an exploration for promoting the use of low-cost, low-energy segmented eINK displays. These types of displays use very little energy bacause each segment can be refreshed individually (as opposed to an matrix display). View the full concept showcase here

Furniture and Lighting
Below is a collection of personal furniture and lighting projects designed between 2008 and 2014

Slice is a coffee table composed of two white matte lacquered plates. The diffuse color effect is obtained by the lower plate reflecting the color applied under the upper one. This treatment brings a subtle and indirect color accent into the room.
Tepee is a tripod lamp reduced to its most simple expression since the legs themselves become the light source. The flexible silicone junction at the top allow for this nomadic lamp to be easily relocated.
Dune was a design proposal for French rotational molding specialist and furniture manufacturer "Qui est Paul?". Dune is a modern interpretation of the traditional "loveseat". The sofa is molded in one piece of polypropylene using the rotational molding process and can be used indoors and outdoors. For this project I wanted to avoid the constraints of traditional CAD tools and started with a clay model that was later digitalized.
